Invitation and Requirements to Bid

The Philippine Dental Association thru the Comprehensive Healthcare Program Committee is now accepting bid offers for the Bids Selection Procedure. The Annual Bidding for the next Healthcare Provider for the Coverage Period starting December 15, 2010 to December 14, 2011. Maximum Benefit Limit is Php. 120,000.00 per dreaded disease limit per year.

  • Healthcare Provider should be at least10 years in the business and should submit Company Profile indicating financial network, experience with other companies and flexibility in business operations.
  • The bid offer should be inclusive of all charges and taxes and should be for the Coverage Period December 15, 2010 to December 14, 2011.
    Bid offer should indicate Premium Rates for the different Bracket Categories based on the number of members enrolled starting 300 members (principal and dependent).
  • Philippine Dental Association will pay the annual mode scheme or the full amount of the premium inclusive of taxes and charges.
  • PDA will have no obligations to pay the Health Provider other than the Premium amount for enrollment.

    • a. Health Provider should see to it that bills/charges in excess of the benefit limit is already settled by the members before paying their hospital bills, relieving PDA of any obligations in paying hospital/laboratory bills/charges in excess of the benefit limit.
    b. Enrolled PDA members will transact business directly with the Healthcare Provider for claims, reimbursements and other business of concerns.

    The Committee will provide the participating Healthcare Provider with the following:

    1. Invitation to bid with the qualifying requirements

    2. Terms of Reference.

    3. Master List of the members enrolled with the current Healthcare Provider of the Philippine Dental Association.
