OUR 103rd PDA ANNUAL CONVENTION is fast approaching...Here are some friendly reminders and information:
1. All delegates registered on or before September 15, 2011 are guaranteed a raffle stub. All qualified delegates have printed raffle stub with their names and prc no. already. So even if you are not able to register before the raffle draw on Nov. 16 during the fellowship night you are included in the raffle. You don't have to be physically present at the raffle draw to win.
2. Registration starts on November 16, 2011 from 7:00 am to 5:00 p.m. SEC requires every member to log in to their logbook upon registration.
3. As you enter the convention hall to register, you will be given a referendum sheet where you will answer with a simple yes or no regarding the reversion of annual convention from nov. to may and not allowing immediate past pda president to run as speaker of the house. Please answer and be sure to present this as you register. No referendum sheet whether answered or not no convention i.d.
4. Please pay your 2012 membership fee to your local chapter before proceeding to the registration booth. You will be asked to present the official receipt of your chapter membership or certificate of membership at the registration booth before you will be able to get your convention i.d. and kit. As per PDA constitution and by laws, your chapter must be where your area of practice is. Should your chapter has no representative at the chapters' area, please pay at the MEMBERSHIP counter at the registration area for whatever chapter you must belong.
5. Please exercise your right to vote our PDA officers for 2013 on November 18, 2011 from 8:00 am to 3:00 p.m. Pls. bring your convention i.d.
6. Please do not lose your convention i.d....to get a new one, you will have to pay php 1,500.00.
7. Opening Ceremonies 3pm and Fellowship Night 6pm are on a first come first serve basis.Costume is cocktail rave party attire with hat. Free meal ticket for the first 1,200 to come.
8. We have an information counter for your inquiries. Pls see attached for the schedule of scientific seminars.
9. We will be very strict on no i.d. no entry to better secure the convention against robbers and opportunists.
10. Membership fee only without convention fee will be accepted only on the 19th and 20th at the Membership counter.
11. Please fill up all evaluation forms so that we can have a reference on the outcome and learn from these to have a better convention in the future.
and lastly,please pray that there be no storm at least from Nov 14 to 21, 2011 : )
